got the intake manifold off for plugs. What else can I do?

I'm going to be taking the cover and intake manifold off to do some work, but what to put together a comprehensive list of what I'll need tools-wise, and what I'm going to need parts wise.

Current known parts to replace.

Glow Plug Module
Plugs (x6)
Gaskets

What else can I do while I have the thing off? What could I afford to do that would help with longevity in the motor?

And more specifically, what tools do I need to get all of this done? I know there's somet torx head sockets in there, but I don't know what I'm looking for.

Any help getting a list together is greatly appreciated.

Are you planning on tuning and deleting at some point?

I've already got JR tuning Stage 2 and exhaust done. So EGR block off is something I could do as well, and had considered. Trying to think of what else might be useful to do while I'm in there.

Dont start replacing parts for the sake of replacing parts... If you have never pulled the intake on your car get used to it... I can pull and intake off of these cars in 15mins start to finish..Done it once or twice.....Its actually a pretty easy job in my opinion.
Cbu cleaning is always a good choice. Other than that...drive more worry less...
Its a Bmw! What could go wrong?

You're probably right on the whole sake of replacing things front, but here's how I see it:

It's got 105k miles on it, and I know previous owners didn't care for it. If I'm going to get this thing off, and have already gotten the car pretty close to where I'd like to have it, may as well go ahead and get it the proper care it deserves. If nothing else, I can do for this car what should've been done for it from the beginning.
