Wrapped Chicago - CF Wrap Seat Shells

Hey boys just wanted to share my experience with Wrapped Chicago in Glenview, IL! They are great guys that do fantastic work when it comes to wrap jobs. I didn't get my entire car wrapped or anything, but I decided to wrap the back of my seats. I couldn't justify spending $900-1500 on CF caps that could get damaged or have fitment issues. I can see my money better spent elsewhere. So I spoke with Josh/Kash at Wrapped Chicago, told them my idea and I think the job came out a success. This is the new 3M DI-NOC CF gloss wrap + gtechnique. The craftsmanship was amazing, and the end product was perfect! Now if anyone comes in and kicks the back of my seats or they get damaged from something, I just visit the shop to get it rewrapped. Pictures don't do it justice, but it matches the interior CF . No I'm not getting paid for this, just happy with work and I think some F80/82/83 guys would appreciate it. Tell them James sent you, they will tell you pricing as I am just a customer.

Contact Josh/Kash @Wrapped Chicago for your wrap needs!

Appreciate it! Honestly you have to see it in person to realize how it looks exactly like the OEM CF trim. The pics definitely don't do it justice due to cell phone camera capability, flash and resizing to actually post on the forum haha.

I was debating the CF shell, but ultimately I didn't want to deal with fitment issues. And if anything gets scratched, damaged or whatever. I just call the shop and replace that piece, simple. As opposed to buying replacement pieces. May not be for everyone, but works for my application.

I'm not going to say it's a 100% replacement for CF. But the price was right, I didn't have to deal with fitment issues, and it matches CF interior flawless. Honestly in person you will not say you see orange peel or flaws. The camera + flash is exentuating the "flaws" in CF wrap. But trust me check it out in person and then make a decision. Don't get me wrong CF shells look dope as well, but for $900-1500 I don't think it's worth it. But hey if you have money to blow, buy them haha.

It's not a secret. I know the owner of the company, and I was a guinea pig so the pricing will not be accurate. So I suggest if your interested contact the company and they will give you price quote. If it was a price set in stone and they told me to tell everyone I would've posted it. This is again just me sharing my experience with Wrapped Chicago, and the great work they did. Who knows maybe if a group of you want it, do a group buy deal lol. Mention my name and he will hook it up for sure .

That's fair! It looks great, and is definitely passable as real CF without a close inspection.

Yea I don't see the benefit in paying that much for CF caps lol. Call me cheap. Definitely does the job in making the F80 seats look special.

How did they get the back cover? Does the leather fold back to release it?
