Do F80/F82 Camber Plates Fit M2

Does anyone know if F80/F82 camber plates for OEM suspension on a M3/M4 fit straight onto a M2 on OEM suspension?

I'm pretty sure the springs/shocks are interchangable.

Also does anyone know the M3 factory spring rates?

Non-M camber plates should work. The extra braces on the F80/F92 aren't present on the F87, so you can use a 5-bolt F22/F30/F31 plate.

Thanks, what about springs, are those interchangable from f8x?

Does anyone know if the F22 plates will work with the MP coils?

Looks like you got the camber plates question answered.

Here is the other:

185 lb/in Stock M3/4 Front Springs
575 lb/in Stock M3/4 Rear Springs

Has anyone tracked their M2 heavily without camber plates and experienced outside shoulder wear? I've done 3 events on stock alignment and i'm actually getting more wear towards the inside shoulder in the front.

This would be the first BMW I've heard of that did not need more negative camber which would be strange.

Might be time for an alignment check? That kind of wear if the opposite of what is expected with track use.

That's my point, the car is wearing tires like it has 4 degrees of negative camber but I know that's not the case. It also drives straight and has incredible turn in. Has BMW finally done something with the suspension that makes the car track worthy with a stock alignment?

Seems like everyone that has camber plates on their M2's has said they did it just because they thought they needed them to save tires. I'm not seeing any evidence that this is true, more the opposite.

With an alignment check you will know what you really have? I find it hard to believe the factory would send out a road car with that much negative camber with out some thing being wrong? How long have you had the car?

There were 2 other M2s at the track with me. Both were stock suspension vs my camber plates set to -2.5. They had more outside tire wear.

How excessive was the wear on the 2 stock cars? Was it the usual chunking on the outside shoulder? Does your car wear the tires pretty evenly across the face at -2.5?

To me the car turns in as well as it could and I'm not seeing much wear on the outside, may re-sell my brand new plates but would like to get some more feedback.

Seems like you've got your car setting well sorted, but did you toe it out at all?
That will drive inside temps/wear up somewhat separate from camber, and increase turn in response...

Mine's at -2.75/0 toe, and I was very pleased with the wear pattern.
I did NOT ever run stock tho, so can't intelligently compare the two.

Stock alignment, I may just go ahead and put in the plates since I already have them see what the difference is. Probably just a waste of 700+ bucks.

Typical outside shoulder all rounded off. Mine looked better but not exactly apples to apples since I run RE71r. Still, I would take the camber in the long run, it will always help with tire wear.
