potenza s-03's again, or eagle f1

Reading a lot of reviews, I hear that the eagle f1's are a pretty good tire.

At the moment I'm running Potenza s-03's whcih is supposed to be the rolls royce of performance tires.

I must say though that they are an awesome tire. Coming from the factory tires to this, it really made me say WOW at how crappy the OE tires are.

I probably have another 4000 miles until I feel I wanna replace my
s-03's.

Which would you pick. Please base your opinion from experience and fact, not from what you heard through the grapevine.

Thanks

I ran S-03's before on other cars and found them to be great, I think the PS-2's are a slight, slight bit better (about the same $$$)

not sure about goodyear personally, what i've read on www.tirerack.com has been positive, but I think S-03 and PS-2 are rated higher

I've used the S-03's on the S2000 for the past year. They look like they could go another 2000 miles, for a total of 15k. The S-03's are a real good performance tire, however they wear too fast as all sticky tires do and I wouldn't mind trading ultimate performance for longer tread life for the 325i.

The Goodyear's are less expensive than the S-03's of the same size, that's all i know about them.

Eagle F1s are great tires, but I would personally go with S03s over them from a performance standpoint. (s03 is less mushy then f1s)

I just put a set of F1's on my 330i and although it's only been 2 days I am extremely impressed with them. Great ride quality, low noise, very sticky. I've seen a big improvement in the handling of the car also. If you rode in the car you wouldn't realize I had 19" wheels and 35(f)/30(b) series tires unless I told you. Even though on-line surveys like Tire Rack's can be less than accurate, up until recently the F1's were ranked #1(currently #2) and they deserve to be #1.

I ran 2 sets of PS-2's on my 95 M3

I commuted heavy miles on them and got about 20-25 K per set
I felt the grip was just very slightly better than the S0-3's I'd had before

I plan on getting PS-2's for my Z4 as soon as the stock tires are worn out, but for my 325 (more miles/less sporting) I may do a bit cheaper and longer lasting tire like the F1's
