..What do you guys think of Zaino Clear Seal???

Hello All. I'm getting all of my detailing products for my soon to be arriving 135i vert.

Has anybody here used the Zaino CS? Do you really feel like it added a strong layer of protection and shine?? Have you compared wax and polish life with and without it?

Thanks!

Yes, I'm using ZCS as the final layer on my car. My unscientific analysis is that it doesn't do much in terms of shine (doesn't hurt/doesn't help), but that it extends the protection for a few months longer than I would get otherwise.

I did my 325 in October, and just did a complete detail last weekend. It was still beading well and looked good even after the winter.

I maintain with Z8 after my regular washes.

I was told to use Z-8 last. Sal Zaino told me the following order based on the products that I had.

Z-AIO
Z-5/ZFX
Z-2
Z-CS
Next Day Z-8

T
Still waiting for Z-2, Z-8, Z-FX, and Z-CS to come in the mail.

Had excellent results though with only Z-PC, Z-AIO, and Z-5 on my wife's Blue Sage Pearl MDX.

Look at the feedback at the Zaino site. Great things are said about Z-CS

I was never a fan of Z-CS. I rather just finish off with whatever carnauba you like as a LSP.

ZCS works like OPT Seal, good but kind of hard to tell the difference. Works great on glass and wheels.

Here are 3 great alternatives

Hence the problem with Zaino: too many steps . Just get the Jetseal FMINUS recommended and a good carnuba like 50/50, and you're done with the entire process in two simple steps rather than 5.

I'll try that in 5 years when my zaino runs out. I have heard a lot of good things about the Jetseal.

Anyhow you are right..A lot of steps involved. Oh well, its fun.

by then there will be something better on the market...

i dont like ZCS, on my Jet Black at least it always left streaks since you can't buff it off...

Thanks for all the input. My car is going to be SGM, and I'm reading from different places that if not put on perfectly, it streaks or can cloudy a dark colored car.

I'm going with the Jetseal and 5050 combo from CG. Maybe I'll just get some Blitz to apply ever couple of weeks instead.
