Review: Stoptech Sport Pads for light track use
After a couple track days and experienced that mushy feel from residue left on the rotor, I decided to swap the pads. I did not want to swap it for every session, and I only do about 5 days a year, so I went with something that is not too aggressive as they will be my daily.
Heard some good things about the Stoptech sport and I'm quite impressed. Sound was like stock for daily and definitely more bite on the track. Held up quite well with minimal fade. (It was a 3 hour session with breaks between 5-8 laps) Didn't need to wait a few days for the mushy feeling to be gone. I've had Carbotech XP before, and it's not as bulletproof as track pads. But for the non hardcore weekend warriors, it's worth a try. Price is pretty good too. |

Just my local mechanic. The store is called Apex in Markham. Beside Markville Mall. Not sure which distributor he went with, but I'm guessing JRP should have some.
