P0304 misfire code?
I'm a novice with diesel engine but just recently dash like came on with code p0304 only. The P0304 code means that the cylinder 4 is misfiring or is randomly misfiring.
What is the most common cause of this code? As I can't check spark plug or ignition coil on a diesel. Car has about 63k miles and has only a stage 1 tune with all emission still on car. I do have a third party bumper to bumper extended warranty should i just take it in and let a shop or dealer deal with it? |

if your third party warranty covers it I would you paid to have the car covered....
look over the packet and make sure it covers injectors.. bumper to bumper coverage will still have exclusions. |

yea third party covers injectors. covers almost everything except for the normal wear items.
listed non covered mechanical items: Exhaust system, catalytic converter, clutch assembly, shock absorbers, brake rotors and drums, tires, fan belts and filters; wheels, non-metallic hoses; brake pads and shoes; battery, battery cables, spark plug wires; distributor cap and rotor. |

Enterprise Financial Group, Inc (EFG) it was a 60 month/75k from current mileage warranty for $2070. mines cover until 9/2019 as I wont get to the 75k.
warranty is only thing stopping me from going 2.8with abc delete. Last edited by 2011335d; 07-13-2017 at 12:43 PM.. |
