Donington Park Track Day

Hi Guys,

I was at Donington yesterday (17th July) with another friend, both of us in M2's (LBB and MG). There was another M2 (MG) there for the morning but he dissapeared at lunch time, not sure why.

I just thought it was worth putting a post up to say how fantastic these little weapons are round a circuit like that! We had an absolute blast and gave some much more track ready cars a bit of a fright!

As far as I can tell, in stock form, the brakes are the only real weak point. The next step is to see what kind of upgrades can be done to the brakes without voiding warranty etc.

Garage List
Replace the brake fluid with race fluid and swap out the pads. I've used endless for both and it was night and day on track days

I've tracked mine a few time and it is great fun. I changed the fluid and hoses, and swapped to the BMW track pads to keep the warranty. Much more bite and they keep going well into a session. The factory pads just turned to butter after a lap of Spa.

I have to say I think the car just has enough power to balance the handling, great fun.
