Farewell..

Decided I had enough with my car; traded in for a boring 2017 Audi A4. The M57 is awesome, the E90 part wasn't so. I got tired of chasing down suspension issues and at 160k miles it gets repetitive.

Thank you everyone for contributing and also assisting me in my mod addiction and also when things break.

Wrecker nooooo!! Not Audi!?! Lol.

It's been nice having you around and you will be missed. What issues did you start having with your suspension?

Everyone has there "line in the sand". With 160,000 miles, you definately had some days behind the wheel. We hate to see you go over to the turbo 4. It would be work to go get another lower miles D and move your equipment over.

Did you trade with all of your mods on the car (downpipe, M3 control arms, M3 strut brace)?

All the mods were traded in for. I really didn't have any time to pull them off, nor did I have a desire.

The suspension issue I never looked into other than pulling the tire off and seeing excessive wear in the inside.

Going to miss your posts Wrecker, you've been a great contributor here. Hope you enjoy the Audi, I had an A8 at one time and it was a nice ride. Glad you stayed German. Best of luck bro.

I'll have to admit though the A4 is a nice car. My brother purchased a used 2017 A4 with all the fancy new virtual cockpit and adaptive cruise control. He really likes the adaptive cruise control for his weekly drives from Austin to Houston down chronically jammed rural i-10 until you get to Katy.

A close friend drove an older a4 and 335i of the same year for an extended time and chose a4 over the 3 series.

Happiest days and lots of fun on the a4.
