330d Gearbox Adaptations Rest Help

Hi guys, need some urgent help. Recently had the gearbox oil and pan replaced on a 2010 330d Auto. Reset the adaptations using INPA and tried the relearn process but car keeps coming up with the transmission fault error and going into limp mode.

Mostly does this when changing from 3-4, any advice appreciated.

Check the level of the fluid, sometimes we drain out more than we can get in. The Ford truck guys found doing a slight overfill helps. It's believed the factory slightly overfills too.

Thanks, already checked and oil level is fine. Would it be worth trying another reset and doing the relearn process on a dyno/rolling road?

You need to drive quite carefully after adaptations. And that time is about 500 miles. Do not lay down on it.

Heat cycles can cause the separator seal and the port seals to shrink, become brittle and fail causing adaption faults and delayed gear engagement because of the working pressure loss.

The fault code also indicates a failed solenoid.
