Coolant Hoses replacement?

Hi Bimmers~

My car is a 2012 e92 335i with n55.

I replaced the coolant reservoir and radiator a while ago, but it showed low coolant again yesterday,

The dealer said the there are two coolant hoses need to be replaced, one is between engine block to the water pump, and the other one is the water pump to the thermostat. They want to charge $1500 for these two plastic hoses, which is insanely expensive.

How much do you guys usually pay for this type of repair??

Are the hoses leaking? Cars do use coolant over time without having a cooling system leak. Awhile ago is how long?

The hose between the block and the pump is very expensive and annoying to replace, hence the steep price. However, it is not a known weak point and most people run that hose for the entire lifetime of the car with no problems.

I lost a cup of coolant since the last refill 3 months ago, which is why I went to the dealer and let them exam the car to check.

The hoses weren't leaking, not the car still drives fine, but they recommended me to replace it.
