647M rims (7 Series) on 2017 540i xDrive M-Sport Plus?

Another question on using 7 Series wheels on the 540i: I want to use 19" rims for winter tires and the only package offered by my dealer is 664M in black. Since I do not want to have black wheels in the winter (difficult to keep clean) I am wondering if I could use the 7 Series 647M rims that they also offer with winter tires. The specs are: 8.5J x 19 ET25 5 x 112 66.6 mm

Anyone knows if these will have any problem clearing he larger M-breaks and not rub (with 245/40 R19 tires) the inside of the fenders?

My dealership parts people seem to be totally uninformed (to say the least), so any help will be highly appreciated. MANY THANKS in advance.

I don't see any problems. OEM 18" fits over your brakes, and the 647M wheels also fits the 750i which I assume has just as big brakes as your car.
The 5mm lower offset and half an inch wider wheels will look good on the G30.

Just be sure to get the 245/40/19 G30 tire size, not the larger 245/45/19 for the G12.

Thanks remmib. That's exactly what I thought. I visited the dealership today and insisted that the mechanics be asked (they wouldn't let me talk to them myself, of course). They said that they absolutely would not fit. I am guessing they are just sticking to the official BMW line and they do not want to bother changing anything (in this case, just replace the 245/45 tires with 245/40) in the nicely priced winter wheel/tire packages they get from BMW Canada.

I was so pissed off with them that I went to a dependable shop I know (from my Audi days) and they will install a nice set of BBS CI-R wheels for me.
