Car Care Products

Now that many of us are taking delivery on our cars, I was wondering what everyone's opinions are regarding the best car care products such as wax, tire shine, leather protectant, etc. Also, what are some websites where these products could be ordered?

You should take a look at Ultima products. I have used Zaino and its nice but I wouldn't trade my Ultima for it. It is rather expensive but you use so little of the product that it last a very long time. Extremely easy to apply. Its a WOWA product so it takes less than half the time then Zaino.

Zaino is awesome, but is very time consuming. Prima makes some nice products. They're leather conditioner is awesome. I love Mothers Reflections Tire Care, not ricer greasy, but makes tires look nice new, and somewhat shiny, Groit's Garage, and Prima also have great tire care. I'm still trying to find the best polish, one that one cause more scratches but will remove some of the heavy swirling and toweling I get...

Did anyone buy zaino to cover all these things?
1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Polish
4. Seal
5. Wax
6. Finish
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=134129

I'm super confused as what to buy, how often to do everything.

My buddy suggested this kit. Looks to have everything I'd need.

Anyone have red flags? L R G?

If you want to stop by the next time I do a full detail, I'd be happy to show you the entire process. If you want your car to look absolutely perfect, there are tons of little things to do it right.

I have almost every Zaino product, love them all.

Zaino is only a sealant, so step 5 and 6 are really part of step 4, as the Zaino seal gives you the wax effect, if a bit glossier but less "wet".

The Zaino Polish isn't for serious swirl removal but will get light scratches and does a great job of enhancing the reflectivity of the clearcoat. I use Menzerna Intensive Polish for serious swirl removal, it works great. I follow it with ZPC to remove haze and give a final gloss prior to sealing.

The Zaino packages do a pretty good job of including everything. The main questions left over:

1. Do you want Z5? This pretty much depends on dark vs light cars.
2. Do you want the AIO?
3. Will you get CS to add durability and ease?

On my recent detail I was in a bit of a hurry so I just did AIO and CS, but usually I do two layers of Z5 followed by a Z2 on my Carbon Black E46. For the new car I will likely do Z5/Z2/Z2/CS after the initial clay. CS goes on all exterior surfaces. Don't plan on polishing the first time if the dealer remembers to not wash my car.

I am telling you if you want something that is easy to put on and looks just as good as Zaino go with the P21S. Do a 24x24 section at a time and wipe it right off with a microfiber towel. It is the greatest wax of all time. Zaino seems like a ton of work and to be honest my 05 with a fresh coat of p21s next to a zaino'd car is just as nice in my opinion but that is like saying the red sox are better than the Yankees (in 2004.... of course) Zaino people scare me to be honest with you..... Try P21S-you will get your car waxed in half the time, it doesn't stain black trim, it just works.
