Fun, but I doubt anyone bought the GTS thinking it'd be good drag car. Also reaffirmed that the first mod to the F8x platform should be wider tires and not the typical HP bits.

rather than spending money putting in a water injection system or exhaust or a tune.. about 5-10K on serious suspension along with wider wheels and tires would be much more well spent.

Horrible launch. Ever heard of warming cup 2s before launch?
Under the same conditions the future CS will do even worse (same tires as Gts - also more hp than the comp package but not enough hp difference to catch up at the end.) Should be redone on warm tires, dry track and then see what happens... Next one: M4gts vs M4CS vs M4 Comp. Should be fun! |

The M2 is more playful and an improvement but mechanical grip is not its strength . The GTS featured better electric steering and bespoke suspension. The ZCP improvements on the stock suspension and Diff have made serious headway towards a good overall package. |

true and certainly not worth the double the price tag on the M4 GTS for me at least. The Competition M4 is as far as I'd like to pay for a car otherwise I'd be in the Porsche category.
