Finally got a '18 M3! (MG/6MT/ZCP) Evil twins garage complete

After almost 20 years of wanting one, it's finally in the garage! Had to pass on the E46 (due to the Lotus Elise/Exige) and E90 (timing, though I wanted that V8!). I love the design of the F80, much better lines and proportions than previous gens. And the color! Badass! Gonna try and keep for a very long time. And the curves on the M3! I tried taking pics along with the Exige's curves. Doesn't capture well.

Damn car came a month early! I was expecting it around Christmas. BMW port processed the shit out of it and on a Sunday, too.

So fun to drive, even at 10 mph. Love the manual, it's a perfect fit, IMHO.

Ok, not quite twins. lol Here it is chillin with the Lil Monster. 07 Exige S with +300hp and ~1940lbs so far. Both with carbon roofs. lol

Congrats on the M3, good looking set of cars. But what a difference in size, the Lotus looks like battery powered toddlers car next to the M in that 3rd picture.

Thanks! lol One of the reasons why I love the Lotus is it's small size. But it's such a damn good car!

I still can't believe I've finally bought this car.

I'll put up better pics after I get the PPF installed. I'll take pics with the Lotus. I still have my DD and am not really going to drive the M3 until I do. Just around the hood on the weekends.

I forgot about the color matched reflectors and spacers. My driveway is kind of narrow and steep, so I likely won't get the MP HAS until I find another place. I'd love a set of black HRE R101 LWs. Hoping next winter I can get them.

Congrats, beautiful car. The black CP wheels looks so much better to me than the silvers, and a nice contrast on the grey car. It also looks like your M3 could eat the Lotus, can't believe how small that is.

Any particular reason for the rear sunshade? I'd figure getting your windows tinted would make that redundant. Are you going to have a rear facing baby seat back there?

I don't think the heated rear seats are standard, only the front IIRC. Honestly, I was going to get the Exec pack only for the 552s. Regarding the rear sunshade, I'm getting the windows tinted, just wanted more privacy and to have something to block the sun at the back of the car. No baby yet and hopefully not for a good while. lol

BBS was my first choice, but I really like the design of the HREs and the weights are pretty much the same. IIRC the HRE rear wheel is .5" wider.

Congrats!! Nice combo I've seen a few folks on LT that have F80M/Lotus combos.

I miss my Exige now and then. Kept the E46M but thinking about maybe getting another Lotus.

I ordered MS spacers 12/10mm, Sterckenn upper splitters and color matched reflectors.

Next week getting the M Perf splitter kit & rear spoiler installed and then the XPEL and a couple places on the car I'll wrap. Putting a light tint film on the reverse lights, covering the M3 logos on the front and side grilles with gloss black and also the top of the headlights in gloss black. Overlaying the blue/white hood & trunk roundels with gloss black. Basically, I'm blacking out the whole car. I did this with my DD and came out badass.
