From 16 F82 to a 18 F80 ZCP

The M bug got me again. Ever since coming back from M-Track class in Thermal, Ca I knew I had to get one. The F82 was my first M but somehow I feel out of love after a year. Maybe it was just the basic options I had in the F82, (DCT, 19 inch wheels and extended leather). Maybe I lost the love for a 2 door, maybe it was a combination of many things.

I've always been a fan of four door. Maybe it was the wide hips

Some will say the price for ZCP is not worth it but thats a personal preferrence. Coming from a F82, its more well balanced, the extra exhaust burp during letting off the gas is more exciting. Oh god, the adaptive LED headlights are beautiful. I love the idrive 6.0 so much more. Little upgrade and touches were subtle but nice and pleasing.

The F82 sat most of its life in the garage during the 20 months of owning it. My CA thought I was alittle nutty knowing it only had 3445 miles during the trade in. He actually said the interior still have the new car smell lol.

Three days ago, I dropped by at my local dealer and there she was, a MW ZCP with SO interior and with all the bell and whistle technologies, expect full leather and CCB. Next thing I knew, I was sitting down at the table and drawing out the game plan on how to get ZCP home.

The MSRP was $80,099 and after a few negotiation tactics, final price with all discounts and incentives was $70240, thats nearly 12.3% off. I felt I couldnt pass it up and drove it home.

I have to say, the love for M is back. Cant stop driving it. I feel more connected with this one than the F82. Mineral white looks amazing. I hope my love for the M continues and many more years to come.
