From Mile High To Down To Earth

I finally bit the bullet and purchased air suspension after what seems a couple years of debate. I went with the 3P system from Airlift. As with many of my other mods I went through Alan (mod Bargains) in Cali . He placed my order and had it all shipped to me and I had my buddy Russ in Denver install everything and he did such a great job. I went with air suspension mainly for adjustability to save my new lip but damn it looks so good aired out, and is a bit more soft than my KW V3 coilovers. I'm in love all over again.

Now... onto the good stuff. Enjoy...

Also curious - personally not a fan of slammed but the adjustability is def interesting - what range of lift do you have and as FR00ZN asks, can you talk about handling/performance characteristics?

Thanks! Glad I left it. Was going to replace it with a carbon lip but it breaks up the rest of the carbon nicely.

I was always told bags on a m3 was taboo but the adjustability and aesthetics always kept me wondering and wanting it. I was worried about the performance too but man bags have come a long ways over the last few years. As for adjustability. I can raise it to just about stock height like it comes from the OEM and put it on the ground as you see in the pics above, I love it. Mainly got it to save my new carbon lip but have fallen in love with it. I'm not too rough on the car but take it out to the canyons here and there and do a little spirited driving. So far the bags have felt great! They feel a bit softer than my KW V3's on the road. I had the same worries as everyone but so far so good. Ill check back in a few months a do a review on them. Stay tuned.

Hey coloradom3, can you show pics of the hardware setup? how much of it is in the trunk etc?

Curious to also know about noise from the compressor, is it noticeable? any insights into that side of things

I think the adjustability of AirSus is magic but wanted to know more about it from someone who has done it....appreciate any insights
