Pics on the BMW Radio Professinal from behind?

Does anyone have any pics on the BMW Radio Professional from behind?

I need to see what kind of channels and inputs it has.

Business and Professional OEM HU use the same type of connector in the rear, regardless of analog or digital outputs:

Of course, the diffrerence will be that those 4 circular holes in that connector will have the fiber cables in the Top (digital) Hi Fi system.

That's the PnP connector for the Blaupunkt THA line of amplifiers for OEM HUs. I think that it is either for the BMW E9x or the VW MKV Golf/GTI/Jetta...

Technically there is no lineout (I assume that you mean line level) lines in the OEM HU; they are either analog 5V Balanced or digital.

The OEM HUs connectors in the back are the same, regardless of outputs: base or HiFi (analog), Top HiFi or Individual (digital). THe OEM HU programming is different.

So that photo above will do for all.

So there's no way to know if that HU will fit in my car (base European sound)?

Your "new" OEM HU should come from a car with the same audio configuration as yours, i.e., Base <> Base or Top HiFi <> Top HiFi, for a truly plug 'n play.

I don't know how specifically the dealer reprogram a OEM HU to output either analog or digital, but the capability is there.

I've been said that the HU is "new" ... I suppose it doesn't come from any car

There's only one way of testing this... get it and see what happens. I don't know if by itself will automatically adjust to the specific outputs of your system or it will require dealer progarmming for the adaptation, but the unit is capable of both kind of outputs.

You need to program the car.
Tell the car you have option 663 (professional) and no hi-fi or Logic7 and you will get standard audio out.
Once that is programmed you can then code the radio, so you can tell the radio you have aux, cd changer etc.

What are you trying to do?? Upgrade from the business to the prof. radio??

You want to find one that has come from a car with no hi-fi upgrade, and with the same options as yours, so aux input if you have it and cd changer if you have that.

I have one that is coded for aux, bluetooth and OBC, but no USB input. It is, and this is the important part, also coded for a car with no audio upgrade, so it will be completely plug and play.
How much are you wanting to pay for one??

I was going to keep it, in case I ever need to put it back in, but could have my arm twisted.

where is the can-bus adapter for the radio, otherwise, where should I get the MF-Wheel signal to control radio volume, and the PDC signal.
I think in the oem system the PDC signal is mixed into the high level lineout from the radio, and the level of this signal is not adjustable durch the radio volume.
Or, the PDC signal is mixed into the amp to speaker wires? In this case I should still have the PDC signal even if my amp is turned off, but I haven't tested it.
Because I am planing with a new HU CDA-9887R, I have to consider how to setup all the oem functions with the 9887R.
