2018 BSM F82 with Ultimate Package

Hey guys,

I recently traded in my 2016 BSM M4 for a 2018 BSM M4 with ultimate package. The ultimate package is a Canadian option which basically includes everything (The package works out to be a few thousand cheaper than adding everything seperately). The main differences between this one and the last one is the competition package, carbon fiber package, and M performance titanium exhaust with CF tips . Both have prem/exec/tech. I ordered the car back in October, so it is also an Oct. build with the CF driveshaft. So far I am loving the car, definitely an upgrade over my 2016. I was concerned it wouldn't be worth it swapping, an M4 for an M4, but now that I have, I can unbiasedly say there is a noticeable difference between the two. Almost every aspect feels improved, this car is how the original M4 should have been sold. Can't wait until it reaches 2000km and is broken in so I can really start enjoying it. Now for some pictures .

I absolutely love the comp wheels on the F8X...good choice and I really like how it was under a cover as you arrived. Nice bit of theater for your pickup!

What do you have planned for it? We should start you off with a set of painted front reflectors

Yes the Ultimate Package or as I call it the Broke Package is the way to go. Love mine and ya you should've got an individual colour as the package includes it. BSM is still nice tho!

Thank you! The only things I have planned for now is to remove the decal, get tint, purchase some kind of removable license plate mount, and either painted or tint the reflectors. I will let you know about the reflectors .

Thanks! I considered all the individual colours offered with the ultimate package, but after looking through all the colour threads, I realized I'm just a monotone colour type of guy. I like my cars either black, white, or grey. There's just something about the black and red that really pops for me in person. Black and CF in the right lighting is . And I love how the black is so low key. People who don't know cars think it's just another 4 series (3/4 series are a dime a dozen where I am located). Only those who know BMW's or enthusiasts, know how special the car really is. (Well, and those that hear the exhaust ).

Thank you! Yes, the Broke Package is correct . Out of all the individual colours, the only one I was considering was SMB. Beautiful car you have yourself as well!

So where are you located? I'm in GTA area and I ordered my M4 with ultimate pkg back in October too. The dealer told me I have to wait until early March to get it delivered.

Also what is the production date of your car? You mentioned you still have the CF driveshaft so I wonder if my car would have it too since we placed our order almost at the same time.

There are some Individual blacks that have subtle tints like Azurite, Citrin, and Carbon black. Some cool greys available too like Grey Black, Fashion, Nardo, Grigio Telesto and Medio. But congrats regardless.

Congrats on the car! I also got my 2016 from brian Jessel and also had my clear bra installed at Protex.

I think I've seen your car around town. It's a great looking car. And I'm sure you're enjoying the updated idrive and exhaust.

Exactly. There are other "individual" blacks that you could've chosen to make your car more unique. The cost of the Ultimate Package is the sum of the costs of all the options had you ordered them separately, except for the cost of Individual Color, a high cost option that you essentially get for free with the package.

So in choosing a regular color, you left money on the table by essentially giving away the only material benefit of the Ultimate Package. You'd be better off just ordering only the options you wanted and save money by skipping options that are included with the Ultimate Package that you don't necessarily need (like maybe the electrical sunshade). But to each his own, congrats.

Does this not have the CF splitters on it? Seems like the M Perf lip is mounted without splitters, which I didn't think was possible.

Thank you! Congrats on your new car, the wait will be well worth it! . I'm not sure the exact date in October, but I went to see my sales guy in the beginning of October and told him I want an October build. He immediately amended a late October build allocation the dealer had to the specs I wanted and the car ended up arriving at the dealer late December. I am located in Vancouver, BC.

Thank you! Good choice on the BSM as well . It does have the splitters, it is just hard to see in the pictures.
