M235i with m2 exhaust, valves not working

Hello everybody this is my first post on these forums so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place but I put the m2 muffler on my m235i x drive yesterday and the valves no longer seem to open and close

With the car warmed up fumes only come out of the left side in all driving modes and when u change from comfort to sport I no longer hear the clicking you associate with the valves opening and closing

I would like the valves to work like they normally do left side open in comfort both open in sport and sport plus etc etc and I know others that have not had this problem who's valves worked like normal after installing the muffler, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am not sure on the M235 but on the M240 there are no valves with the MPE exhaust system - both pipes are venting regardless of mode

It's an m2 exhaust tho and the actuator is connected but no fumes come out of the right side regusrdless of driving mode I think it might be the actuator on the exhaust itself or the cable coming from the car being faulty maybe due to rain?

My thoughts would be those you listed. In addition, maybe a fuse as well if there is one dedicated for that valve. I wouldn't think coding would be involved, but that could be another issue.

Okay it fixed itself today, I turned the car on and I saw fumes coming out of the right side and when putting it in sport there were fumes from both, my guess is the computer needed a day or 2 learn the new exhaust because I've done absolutely nonthing to fix it I just turned it on today n it worked when the past 2 days I couldn't get fumes to come out regardless of drive mode
