Dealer installed injectors: warranty period?
Any clue how long these are warrantied for?
They were replaced by the dealer in 2010 when they did the HPFP. Car is well off warranty now but I'm wondering if replacement parts carry some type of warranty as well. Thank you |

Replacement parts carry a two year warranty, not 8 lol. Time to pony up.

BMW parts are warrantied for a period of 2 years/Unlimited kilometers.
I'd recommend taking it to a trusted BMW specialist to sort out the issue you're having. |

If it is replaced under Certified Pre Owed warranty. Once the warranty period has finished, the parts are no longer covered under warranty. Even though the receipts says 2 year warranty.
If you paid it out of your pocket than its 2 years. |

if you need to replace out of pocket make sure you purchase them from FcpEuro you'll have the lifetime warranty and will never have to worry about the cost of replacement again

100% RIGHT, I recently had to replace a part that was replaced under warranty last year, now that my warranty is done, they will not honor the 2yr unless it was paid for in cash, kinda sucks for the client but that's their policy.

Well techically you did pay in cash for the deductible and also the extended warranty (if you did). On the receipt, it says all the parts carry 2 years warranty, if they change the policy, it should ONLY apply to those who got their repairs done after they set up the policy. And also CPO warranty IS NOT transferable, which means if you buy a car off craigslist or kijiji or used car dealership, you wont get the BMW CPO warranty
