I changed my mind on colour combo etc etc. Now have extended leather, premium sound, rear blind & a higher on road price that comes with it.
Collecting the new DCT-M3 Friday 10am - then I'm taking the rest of the day off |

Hey LuKe,
Did you receive a postcard type letter with chasis number etc. saying this is your car's DNA. If so how long ago was that as i received mine last week with ETA mid Sept. How did you change your options your car must of been on the boat the last 6 weeks or so? |

I never received anything about the cars DNA..
I saw the car at my dealers in South Yarra & thought wow I like that combination. Then I asked if it was available & it was. I saw the silver DCT vert & that thing looks mean but I'm not a vert type of guy so I never asked about it. They just called & said it may not be ready until 12pm Friday because of the tint job.. I'll take pictures & post something up on Monday |

Having seen Luke's new car I can say it is very smart. Of course I got told off for sitting in it before he did but hey - what's a showroom demo for!!
Also had a drive of the DCT convertable. Nice - will take some getting used to but love the downchange blips. Quite unlike earlier automated manuals, such as the Selespeed, with a very fast up/down rev cycle. I guess it must have a very light flywheel. |

So c'mon spill the beans, what colour is the car???? interior??? etc???
aggie57 so its a tricky box to get used too or a day of driving it should be ok. Did you have to book to take it for a spin or just turn up. |

What do you know.... it was ready a day early!!
First impressions are that it's more than I expected. I'm very happy! It is difficult to keep it under the 5,500rpm P.S. I'm not very good at taking photos.. |

Slim line plates! They're a few bucks extra but worth it imo. Make sure to tell us when yours arrives. We should meet up for a coffee & have em all lined up.. P.S. the traction control was activating between 3rd-4th this morning (in the wet) |

That would be great to all catch up, go for a cruise and have a photo shoot. I was speaking with my business partner, he has a JzB arriving the same time as mine and i mentioned to go for a spin up the Dandenongs or something, the weather should be nice around December

Last night (wet roads) while turning left I put my foot down about half way & the back end 'snaked & weaved' while hammering down the road as the traction control was keeping everything in check! I love this car |

I'm up there on Sunday with the Alfa Club. Lets hope we don't destroy as many cars as last time at Phillip Island. The count there was 3 - a 105 Alfa, an Alfetta GT and a Z4 only a few months old. |

I know Winton, Broadford & P.I. well from my bike racing days. I'll leave my car parked while I take BMW's M3's out for my M Driver Training day later in the year
