I have an ’08 E93, I-drive and the Ipod option. I’m having trouble with playlists using a USB flash drive.

I created (to test the idea) 2 directories on the drive, with songs in each. The only thing in the root directory are 2 playlists. When I select the USB, the system immediately begins to play the music in the first directory (alphabetically). If I manually select a playlist, using the I-drive, it works fine.

I also tried to assign the playlist screen to one of the programmable memory keys. That seems to be ignored – the first directory begins to play.

Anyone know how to get the playlists to appear as the default or how to get the playlist selection screen assigned to a memory key?
