F95 X5 M rendered based on revealed G05

COMMENTS

Check out this rendering of the F95 X5 M based on the now revealed G05 X5, by Aksyonov Nikita.

The F95 X5 M will be powered by the F90 M5's S63 engine (S63B44T4), but it may receive a very small power bump over the F90 M5's 600 HP. Production will begin in 2019 as a 2020 model year (in US). The new X5 M and X6 M will also share the same new M xDrive system and 8 speed automatic with the F90 M5.

Besides not having the quad exhausts, this is a nice 'M' rendering. I still feel the front needs a bit more revising.

So the lower front and sides including the wheels are photoshopped from an M2 and the rear is just a photoshop of the Msport x5 shown yesterday

Clearly we have no idea what they will do with the bumper. I think the idea here is "what could this look like as a sportier model?". So they piece together known stuff to see what it looks like with more aggressive styling. If you expect to see the actual car you'll of course be disappointed.

You have the M2 or the M5 to take design from for the render and the M2 is chosen?

Instead of what the X5M could look like, we are looking at what the X5M 99.9% won't look like in terms of the exterior changes for the M model

If by some chance m2 design queues are evident then I will happily own up to being wrong.

I understand that the G05 will go into production for MY19 and be available later this year, while the G06 won't go into production until next year for MY20.

since the X5M won't debut until a year after the G05, does that mean that we won't see an X6M until 2021...?

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Fantastic render & that front bumper is great but highly unlikely to make it to production
