F95 X5 M Rendered by Auto Bild

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Per: Auto Bild
http://www.autobild.de/artikel/bmw-x...-12055517.html

Google translation:

"Outlook on the X5 M

A new X5 also means a new M version: How To Cars has new information and Erlkönig images to the most potent stage of the Bayern SUVs!

After BMW has reissued the X5, Bayern are now working on the M version. Visually, the sports version of the SUV will differ by modified front and rear aprons, larger air intakes and special rims from the production model. After the civilian X5 has already got a lot more beads and edges for the model change, the M model will probably continue this trend. The sporty paint will befittingly include the characteristic M exterior mirrors.

X5 M with engine from the M5

How To Cars assumes that BMW will put the X5 M on the 4.4-liter V8 biturbo with 600 hp from the current M5. In X5, he could even grow a few horsepower. The engine is in the BMW M-cosmos something like the all-purpose weapon for sporty BMW. Expected is the new X5 M for 2019, priced he could start at around 125,000 euros. "

Not the biggest fan of that front end. Not sure it is an improvement over current gen.

Looks like they took the M2 front end and enlarged it. Looks silly.

It looks really nice. I think the front actually works for once, unlike in the lower models.

More like they took the M8 Concept lower front end and grafted it on. I don't think this is accurate, especially since we've already seen camo'd spy shots and video of the X5 M, and they didn't have those gaping holes.

Front end of the F15 wasn't great either. The headlight-kidney connection looked frumpy on that an the outgoing X3. Overall this is a much more modern design. The F15 only looked good with M package.

I still find the E70 to be the most attractive of the bunch. Absolute timeless design, they could stick it in a showroom today and it would look like a a 2019 model. My folks have a 2012 M sport in carbon black and it's an absolute badass.

I drive an e70 X5 M in carbon black now and I agree - I think it's the best looking one. I also liked the very first gen X5

Two bricks it is! Although I'm sure it'll be cheaper in the US as usual. what's the F85 cost these days in the EU?
