Third Row Seating on x50?

In the ordering guide, I don't see an option for 3rd row seating on the x50, only on the x40.

In the bmwusa configurator, I don't see a 3rd row seating option at all, for either the 40 or 50.

Am I missing it, or can you not get thrid row seating on the x50?

Talking about the G05, of course.

The third row seat wont be available until December production that is why is not showing.

Right, but to further answer OP's question, the ordering guide does not show 3rd row as an option on the xDrive50i, only the xDrive40i.

Which is a shame...some of us want 3rd row in conjunction with the V8...

Thanks, both of you. And yes, I want the TT V8 with third row seating.

No 3rd row available for the 50i for the 2019 model year (based on the current ordering guide). Maybe 2020?

Most buyers of the 50i are not buying this vehicle for a 3rd row but for the performance aspect

That may be true, but there are some (me included) interested in both 3rd row seating, and performance.

I agree.

And really, if you're after performance only/don't want 3rd row, the X5M isn't that much more than a well optioned 50i.

Well, this post on the BMWBlog at least shows that third row seating will actually be a thing, and references the Dec 2018 production date, as well. Still doesn't say anything about x40 vs x50, though.
