New BMW X6 M (F96) Begins Testing!

We bring you the very first spy pics of the next generation BMW X6 M (F96)!

Like the current X6 M, the next gen F96 X6 M will share the same engine (S63) as the upcoming X5 M (F95). Both models may receive a small power bump over the F90 M5, which already boasts 600 HP.

The X6M has just dropped some camouflage, revealing much! We can now see the front bumper styling and the prototype now features double slat kidney grilles as well as M mirrors.

As has been noticed on earlier spyshots, the X6's regular (non M) grille is vertically narrower and more ventilated (6 slats per kidney instead of 7) than the X5's.

super excited for this and also the x5M. I have always been a fan of the x6 I always feel im driving a SUV from Halo when I drive one, odd reference I know

I don't mind the current X6 actually but this looks like it's improving upon the shape even more with a sleeker overall profile. Looks like it could be a winner going from an alright design to an actually good-looking car. Let's see

Just test drove the 2019 X4, it has increased in size but has decrease in weight.

X4 and X6 side-by-side in same paint color.

2019 X4 behind that the X6. Honestly there was not much difference in size. I would never need anything bigger than the new X4.

But here's a photo showing a comparison.

I'm hoping that the X4M & X6M come with some really cool M Rims.

Exactly. I wonder why. I favored the traditional exhaust location.

Is it to deviate from the Sedans/Coupes?

As the X3/4 M are similar to this, a design change is apparently on the way. Interesting!

Is that possibly a pano roof I see? I sure hope so. That is the one thing I miss going from X5 to X6.
