Can amplifier install cause Progman update failure?

I have my car at the dealer to do some warranty work and they had to do a software refresh but the Progman update failed. I didn't get the details of the error as I got there after all the techs had left. They are going to try again on Monday. I can't help but think that my amp installation caused the failure due to a possible voltage irregularity during the update.

Here is my setup:

Logic LC6i
4 channel amp to power fronts and rears
2 channel amp for the subs

LC6i triggers the amps on speaker level input sensing.

Has anyone had this experience?

I have been involved with several amp installs on several E90s as well as an E60 and not seen this.

That's relieving! Maybe it's just the car being finicky with the update then...
