First Production 50i X6 Spotted!!!!!
Hey guys caught a production level 50i X6 out on public roads! The first production level 50i I've spotted. The fact that BMW has released Mgr's to drive these cars home.....means 50i production is well underway. This is a beautiful VR,Non Sport Pckg,w/ the 19" Style 257 wheels and running boards.Should not be to much longer for you guy's w/ 50i's on order!!!! I hope these upload ok....I'm in Alaska on a family vacation and the places we are staying have poor internet connections. Thanks much! PalBay

Thanks for the photos. I feel that 19" wheels is a bit small for the X6... It looks much better with 20" or 21" wheels, also to cover some of that wheel arch space on the top.

Much better with 20 or 21" wheels and a slight drop which is what I will eventually do once some companies come out with kits

That may be the same manager and could be a different one. They change M/A tags all the time. "Security Purposes" so they say. Certain employees who have regular SC plate have to do the same as well.
PALBAY, be one the look out. Their are about 10 managers and engineers who have the X6 50i. Alpine White / Tasman Green / Platnium Bronze and one in Jet Black!

I agree....IMO the 19's just don't do the X6 justice.Need the 20's minimum,to fill those huge wheel wells on the X6.Thanks! PalBay

BMWMC – are you sure about the Platinum Bronze color? That is not listed as an available X6 color (at least for US or UK)… It is an X5 color, but the X6 gets Mineral Silver instead in all the brochures. I ask because I really like the Platinum Bronze, and I wonder if it might be a special order or something for the X6… Was the car you saw a right-hand drive?? |

with 22's it will be slower and probably handle worse than with the stock 20's from the Sport Pack.

I agree...
I'm thinking of getting the Style 275 (last image in the post below) http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...95&postcount=3 The only thing I don't like about them is cleaning... Style 259 are definitely easier to clean than the Style 214 or 275 ...
