No G21 Sports Wagon for the USA

According to the recent Car & Driver magazine BMW will not be importing the G21 Sports Wagon to the USA.
Not that I am surprised but I am VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I guess they think they will get me to replace my F31 with a X car? Not going to happen and they will force me to leave the brand for a wagon.
Back in 2013 they threatened not to bring the F31 into the USA and then changed their mind. Hoping for the same result now but I guess not!

I test drove the Audi A4 Allorad a year ago. Its a very nice car but also suffers from having a raised ride height and plastic cladding, which ruined the driving dynamics. It was like they were asking me to essentially buy an SUV despite labeling it as a wagon. When I think of a wagon I don't think of either of those things that the Audi offers, but it seems thats where the world is going with the 3 or so wagons left being sold.

The Volvo S60 is beautiful, but the engines/dynamics aren't at all engaging, and the infotainment is awful. It seems that wagons are over in the US sadly.

This was announced a long time ago. Not surprised at all considering sales numbers in US.

Regular four-door cars and related tourings/wagons are on their way out. This may even be the last 3-series BMW - in the US anyway.

In the same boat here hoping they change their minds as well. No interest in an SUV. Unless I go full mid life crisis and get an M2 i don’t see an other BMW in the cards.
