luxury seating package and integral active steering, worth it?

I am not sure if these features are worth adding to the build. I would love to have ventilated seats. Don't care about massaging seats unless they are really that good. I am not sure how integral active steering is helpful in real life.

Personally I’d value it the other way...

The ventilated seats are more or less worthless (have them on my F15 and the G05 isn’t any better). The massaging seats however are absolutely incredible, and worth the package alone (to me).

If you haven’t tried them, give both options a go and see what you think.

I agree. I have the massaging seats. Much nicer than on my 2012 X6.

Active steering is very helpful in tight turns, reduces turning circle substantially.

Okay so this is another feature I decided wasn’t worth it especially coz of mixed online reviews and now i am hearing lot of positive reviews. Hopefully I am still able to add tomorrow. My car is already scheduled for production. Thanks for youe feedback. Tight corners and hairpin turns are common in the mountains

Are you recommending integral active steering based on your experience with audi q7 or bmw x5?

If you're wondering whether or not they're worth it justb order the packages. You will regret not doing so more than just adding them which is why I always option mine more rather than less. There will be a time where you will appreciate X feature and be glad it's there.

There were some mixed reviews online that it made drive feel weird or strange. I couldn’t test drive any with integral active steering myself so I decided to not order. I think I will tell dealer to add on before production starts.

I couldn't either but it's part of the DHP so I'll learn to love it even if the feeling is odd at first. I've driven cars with 4 wheeling steering just not the X5 and it was great

I have the DHP and no other SUV I've driven comes close to it in terms of handling. Add the raw torque laden power of the V8 and it puts a huge freaking smile on my face every time I drive it.

And it is easy to perpendicular park, which can be a credit to the rear wheel steering, and my parking garage is tight.

I love how it has a quad exhaust too, so much for that being only on M cars

Based on experience with Q7; test drove with and without and it made a great difference, particularly with U-Turns.

BMW system has similar specs.

I even waited ordering a 40i MSport till integral active steering recently became available as an option.

Thanks.
