6FL connector problem, mono sounds

any one experience loss of sound on either left or right speaker when using their ipod. I had to touch and wiggle the usb connector to get the sound back to stereo. the connector on the ipod side is ok. while wiggling i heard static noises. the 6FL cable is the original one they gave out when 6FL was rolled out

yes, they replaced my 6FL cable and it went away.
