turn the light switch to the parking light, I think its 2 clicks? You have a 328i, I'm not sure if it has the rings or not, but that's how the 335i E90 sedans do it.

In my '08 E90, the DRLs can be turned off in the iDrive. Can't recall where exactly, but somewhere in the settings menu...
But my DRLs are different from the angel eye rings. The rings come on with the parking lights. |

i just leave the lights on always. it's not like they'll wear out ever.
trust me having DRL's or main lights on all the time will save your life someday.

The only problem with leaving them on all the time is that if you have the xenons with the adaptive lighting they wont turn with the steering wheel unless the switch is set to auto.
