***QUICK***DICE installation help

I have an 06 Z4 3.0i that I want to install the DICE unit in. I have the trunk apart but do not see the clips in the pass through on the passenger side of the vehicle. Can anyone help?

How can I tell if I have a DSP radio? I don't think I do but that would probably explain why I can't find the plugs.

06+ has DSP, but the analog version in which the digital converter is not needed. Here's a shot of the connections:

Is this in the middle? There is a clip on a string that will not let me remove the back panel. Any suggestions?

No need to remove the back panel, just lift it up.

Same location in the roadsters, this is in the middle looking in from the trunk area.

I can't lift it up and see it. Do you know how to disconnect the push clip that has the string attached?

Email me directly (not PM) with your request and I should be able to reply with detailed instructions.

Okay I got it installed. The issue I had was with a clip that was attached to a sting in the middle of the panel on the back wall carpet. I had to end up cutting the sting to gain access. Then I had to un-velcro a black box that was mounted to the rear wall. In my roadster, it covered most of the pass through unlike the pictures above. That gave me enough room to wiggle my fingers around in the opening until I found the clips.

Now I need to figure out why sometimes it recognizes the iPod and sometimes it just says AUX and the iPod will not respond. Any suggestions?

Pressing CD5/TRACK2 will enter AUX mode, CD5/TRACK1 is iPod mode. Be sure to press CD1 afterwards to enter song selection mode.
