Sorry to bother peter I'm looking in their site but don't see anywhere on site sign up only sign in would you be able to send the link
Try this.

https://www.unitedroad.com/delivery-receipts

Then look under "How do I register my email address with my destination "

Here's how I recall that it works:

Go to your dealer's website and look at their current inventory. Find a new car, any car. Grab the VIN of that car then go here and run a search:

https://www.unitedroad.com/delivery-receipts

It should pull up the delivery receipt for that car AND it should (MUST) be for the dealer you want to track. The only time it might not pull up the right dealer is if it was originally delivered to one dealer then traded to another. From here you can REGISTER your email and SUBSCRIBE.

Once you've don this you can go here:

https://new.unitedroadlogistics.com/Oviss/login.aspx

I don't recall ever creating a password (back in 2015). So recently I just clicked on forgotten password and entered my email that I had registered on the other United Road site. Then it let me in. From here then you can see "pipeline" and "current". Pipeline are cars they know about but dont have yet. Current are cars waiting to be picked up and are ready for United Road.

Good Luck and let me know if that works for you.

Tried a few vins I see it says last 8 numbers and nothing’s Coming up
Maybe they use a different company to transport?

Looks like United Road must not be the carrier for your area. Sorry it did not work.

Just got an updated and it was jumped from "entering assembly line" to "dispatched from factory" in one day. It's weird because originally car was assigned to production week 14 (which is now), but car is already dispatched and on its way to dealership. As I understand, transit to California will take about 3 weeks.

Crazy, I'm in the exact same situation. Scheduled for week 14, but completed build and QC yesterday and entered "dispatched from factory" today. I'm in the Seattle area so I'm interested in seeing how long it takes to arrive at my dealer.

Mine was in 'production begins' yesterday but this morning it finally moved past that and now in 'entering assembly line'. Per the 800#, completion is suppose to be tomorrow 4/3...

I'm also in Seattle but will be picking up my X5 in Oregon, and also quite interested in seeing how long it takes to arrive at my dealer!

BMW mygarage site is showing "In transit" even though the car is at the dealer for several days. The BMW site is not always (most of the times) up to date.

It seems to take a week. At the production begins stage you get a VIN. About a week later it should begin moving again. If you call the 800# you can find out what day it is supposed to be complete. Once it really starts it only takes a couple of days from beginning to ready for transport.

My 2019 X5 has been in quality check for 6 days. I called BMW Genius and talked to a live person. He said there are a number of reasons for the delay and he was not able to narrow it down as to the main reason why it is taking this long to complete.

Does anyone know how to turn off United Road updates. My car is delivered but I am continuing to receive updates of all subsequent shipments to the dealer.

My X5 was just Dispatched from Factory!

Order history so far:

3/7: order placed
3/25: production begins
4/2: entering assembly line
4/3: quality check
4/3: awaiting carrier assignment
4/5: dispatched from factory

Now it just needs to travel from SC to my dealer in OR...

I am wondering that too? I don't see a way to cancel on the United website?

It's weird, but my car's status was updated to "At the port" on April 4th and after 5 days it's still there. Is it normal?

My status updated on 4/8 to "At the port" and as of today still shows the same status. But when I used the Norfolk Southern telephone system to track the rail car using the Bill of Lading number my dealer provided to me it's telling me it just passed somewhere in NM.

If your vehicle is traveling by train also, then I suspect yours may be similar to mine & moving across the country...

The automated service says it is to be completed tomorrow at the factory.

I am hoping the shipping to Texas does not take a month.

For reference this is what I ordered:

X5 xDrive40i
Arctic Grey
Black Extended Merino
Executive Package
Drivers Assistance Pro Pkg
Luxury Seating Package
Premium Package 2
Convenience Package
Parking Assistance Package
2-axle air suspension
20" wheel 738 w/ as rft
Acoustic glass
Front and Rear Heated Seats
Harman Kardon surround sound
Htd Fr Seats Armrests/S Whl
Leather Dashboard
Multi-contour seats
Running boards
Follow up to my original post

The vehicle was completed 4/3. It was shipped 4/4 and picked up in Houston on 4/6. Thanks for the shipping info - I knew the vehicle was at the dealer before my salesperson!

Great vehicle! Everything checked out and very pleased. Now to figure out the front license plate...
