Bluetooth Paired But Can't Hear Anything Through Speakers!!

Hey Everyone,

My phone (verizon blackberry pearl) can pair with my 08 328i coupe and make/receive calls but when I am in an active call I cannot hear anything through my speakers. I tried turning the volume all the way up on the steering wheel and on the dash. I tried several different bluetooth phones and they all had the same problem.

I found out about this issue right AFTER I purchased the car (when the sales associate was teaching me how to use the car). They told me that something might not have been turned on when the car first came in. Does this sound right? They told me to bring it back so they can look into it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If the other party can hear you well, then most probably the loundspeaker in your driver's under-dash panel is out. Yes, it's a separate speaker. Refer to No. 3 in the diagram below.
