Riss Racing mid pipes?
Has anyone seen this before?
http://www.**********s.com/product.a...idPipe_335i_KY I have a new exhaust and downpipes, but how is this different from those? Do these really add more hp and torque? If it's another 10 to 15 on both hp and torque, then I'll buy one.. |

Only 4-6 whp is to be gained with secondary cat delete. I would rate this mod mainly for sound and a SMALL bump in power.

I have the Borla and these look a little better. I don't think anyone makes 3" ones, the 2.5" are hard enough to find room to fit in the tunnel and bolt the brace on (for us e92 owners anyway).

I think dual 3" is overkill without a turbo upgrade. The 2.5" dual setup is strong if its straight throughout. I don't think you'll see gains coming from the small turbo outlets to dual 3" all the way through the mufflers.

dual 2.5" flows plenty of air to support 400+whp...500+whp would be necessary to need dual 3" exhaust.
