I meant non oem as in not BMW branded. I know BMW uses Mann and other brands. I just needed to know if this filter was the correct one so I can place an order by tonight. Thanks for the info!

I just used a BMW branded one and the BMW oil when I did the oil change (quick dump of the initial oil after 2k miles). getbmwparts.com prices were lower than buying an aftermarket filter and the wrong spec oil from the many online places.
Side note: the 0w-20 oil flows like water coming out. Having come from 10w-60 oil in the M3, it's pretty amazing to see such low viscosity oil coming out. The 0w-20 oil pours nicely from the container cold too!

My 2018 330 requires 0w-20 in BMW Longlife-17 fe+ spec oil.
