Does anyone have the Canberra Beige leather with the light brown dash? I'm looking at it on the build site and its so different than the norm, I'm wondering what owners who have been living with it have to say.

I had a X7 40i with Canberra Beige Vernasca for a month and it's quite nice with the chocolate brown brown carpeting and interior soft touch panels.

Different in what way?

In the earlier 2019 guides, when selecting MCHE - Canberra Beige Vernasca, 4M5 leather dash option was also required.

Different in that 90% of cars have a black dash. I kinda like the brown dash, its, a, well, different

Ah, yah I like the brown dash too and as you put it - it's not black. I'm leaning towards the ivory white/night blue extended Merino for my 2020 build.

My hesitation in ordering the beige seats, and for you, the white seats, is how quickly they get dirty and how hard it is to clean them without the seats showing where you cleaned and where you didn't.
I have a light beige leather chair and we had company over a while ago and after they left my wife noticed what looked like blue jean coloration embedded into the leather seat cushion. Had a heck of a time getting it out.

I had the earlier beige interior on my E53 X5 and didn't have issues keeping it clean. Just a wipe down once a month.

With the G05, I'm worried/not worried with the ivory and night blue since the center seat and back rest is ivory and the thighs and side bolsters are night blue.

I wear raw selvage denim and dye transfer hasn't been too bad either of my vehicles - mocha in '17 X5 and ivory white nappa with dark coffee dash in '19 M550i.

It's my 30d. I can say it's very nice! But need a lot of maintainance, and be careful with some color pants could leave some micro dust on the seat.

The online configurator for the X5 shows a black roof-liner vs the beige in the X7 pictures above. I wouldn't mind the brown dash as long as the roof liner matches either the dash or the other leather surfaces. I'm not a fan of the tri-tone (beige-brown-black) interior.

I have it and it is awesome to me. The competition brings smile to my face every morning heading to work. I love it.

The dashboard is quality Walknappa Leather in Coca color.
Mat and lower side of doors are in same color too. I've also added Coca color weather-tech mat which is beautiful with this combination.
The roof liner is not black it is kind of light charcoal and wont bother.

I understand why decades of dashes have been black but I would like to see what the Canberra Beige and Brown looks like in person. The video imdexter posted and the pix on the BMW build site do in fact make it look more luxurious like you said. I think this time around, that is the look I'm after but not sure how it will look with the Arctic Gray exterior, probably funky.

Does anyone here know the current situation with the beige leather in the X5? We are replacing our totaled 2014 X5 35d and it's unfortunate that we can't get exactly what we had before and would want again (i.e., beige interior, light exterior that is not white - ideally beige, DIESEL, and third row). I can't find a single used car in the state with those specs, even with a gas engine.

If we go with a new G05, we would need at least the beige interior. My wife hates the other choices. However, it seems the beige leather is not available based on the online configurator and a bulletin from August 2019. Do any of the experts here know the current situation with that? (I'm also waiting to hear back from my dealer on this.)

She is also annoyed about the lack of a beige exterior color option, but might overlook that and choose Arctic Gray as a backup. Both of us are peeved we can't get a diesel (me for the torque, her for the fuel economy), but that's obviously not happening. I love BMW and have owned many, but BMW seems to be doing their best to push us away.
