Stock F80 M3 vs Track E92 M3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sk_QfxsR3Mc

Decided to put together a quick clip of a past Bear Mountain drive. Had some fun chasing an e92 m3 through some windy roads. Enjoy the commentary, it was quite an exciting pace.

Will be producing lots of F8X related content and next season... track things!

Lots of blind/tight corners on a narrow road to be crossing the double like that.

This run was at early morning hours in a very secluded area. There is not usually any traffic at this time and we had a large group of cars.

Wide angle lens on the gopro may make it seem like the driver tire is dipping over the yellow line which may not be completely without incident, however effort is made to keep and maintain line through corners.

If you want to make judgement based off of a username created in 2010 so be it.

Thanks for watching

To be honest, I wasn't trying to judge. Objectively, it all came across as fairly reckless. You're over a double yellow when a motorcycle comes flying by in the oncoming lane in that video. Didn't seem like much the way it happened but that situation could have happened WAY differently.

I'm sure you had fun, and I'm sure all of us have been reckless behind the wheel at some point too. But, speaking for myself, its not something I would ever glorify.

Totally fine. Driving over the speed limit on any public road is reckless as it is. Any situation can happen differently when talking about ifs/ands/buts. Get what you're saying. Simply wanted to post and let others relive the fun that I had on some backroads.

Not sure if it is "reckless" as the biker seemed to be pretty chill.

I call it "having fun within one's limit".

back in the days in Mexico, when I did runs with my vato, crossing the double yellow means you are paying dinner for the crew that night. Guess you guys got each other's dinner bills covered for the entire month just from a 2 min. run. Hope yall have fun on the date. Cute couple <3

i'm all for this.... but yeah that e92 needs to stay in his lane. Imagine if someone driving just like him was coming the other way and crossing the double yellows.

Clearly professional drivers on a closed course in Mexico.

I'm all for spirited drives, but portions of this drive are reckless. This is the kind of stuff that leads to tragically bad accidents, yet, we're - referring to law enforcement - are the assholes when we start citing or arresting people and towing cars.

Sounds like some jackasses we arrested in L.A. for speeding through residential streets in their exotic cars, only to have them claim D/I and get overnighted out of the country.

Around 2:33 was just silly. If someone was coming the other way, you were done for. Take it to the track.
