You have the correct part # for the Oil filter.

The copper washer comes with the Oil filter, along with a new filter cap o-ring.

Unfortunately not. I've used the same drain plug when I used to do the oil change on my F15, however always changed the copper washer - which comes with the Oil filter anyway.

Out of curiosity, which engine do you have?

I've got the 30d (3.0L Diesel), and I haven't changed the oil on my G05 yet. I bought a new Oil filter (same part # as yours), will probably change the oil in Jan 2020 - as I'm still going through the running-in stage (only done around 2,100km) - but expect to have closer to 5000k by the end of Jan as we go on our long summer drives...

It will be interesting if you have the 40i - and the used the same filter for both gas and diesel engines.

Here is the service manual oil change section for the G05 40i...

I would not guess when it comes to BMW. Follow the guidelines to a T.
