*Active Autowerke E9X Signature Pulley Kit*

Next in the Signature Line of upgrades for you E9X M3 (DCT & Manual Transmission) is the Active Autowerke Signature Pulley Kit. This is a complete bolt on kit engineered using Aircraft Grade Billet 6061 Hard Coat Anodized Aluminum. After months of R&D in house and overseas (various climates & conditions) we concluded that there may be a slight power increase by going smaller than our pulley but the trade off is a chance of making the engine run hotter or possibly overheat (we noticed this in both DCT cars and Manual cars on and off the track), we choose reliability over that extra 1-2 rwhp that we may get from a smaller pulley. Testing in Miami, FL and in other hot climates was a must in our R&D process to take things to the “extreme limits”. Another key element in the development of the Signature Pulley Kit was to retain the “Factory Crank hex Drive Adapter”, this was important to keep this factory feature for its inherent purpose. The pulley kit does not modify factory harmonics or dampening. Stronger side walls were the last key element in choosing our size over a smaller design. The Active Autowerke E9X Signature Pulley Kit yields gains of 12+HP (Testing done on Mustang Dyno for Closer to Real World Figures). This is a complete bolt on system (easily reversible) that has a stealth look (factory color), a must for the true enthusiast.

Key Features:
  • HP gains: 10 RWHP ~ 12+ HP
  • Complete Bolt on System
  • Aircraft Grade Billet 6061 Hard Coat Anodized Aluminum
  • Retains Factory Crank hex Drive Adapter
  • Includes Replacement Belts
  • Does Not Modify Factory Harmonics or Dampening
  • Available for DCT and Manual
  • Stealth Look – Pulley Made in Factory Color
  • Reduces Rotational Mass
  • Does not cause overheating similar to smaller pulley designs
  • Pair with AA Software for Additional Gains

Retail Price - $495

Cool. Good to see you guys made one for the DCT.

Couple of questions....

Is the DCT pully different than the 6MT? If so, what is the difference?

Is the software upgrade just the standard one you offer for the car, or is it a modified program to work with the pully upgrade?

Does your software change anything with the DCT programming/shifting, etc.?

Is your programming discoverable by the dealer?

Thanks in advance....you guys are top-notch! I had your turbo kit on my 95 M3 and was very impressed with it. Glad to see you guys are on the ball with the E9x products!

EDIT: Could not find any E9x products on your webpage. Please share some info about the software you mentioned. TIA

No

This testing was done on cars with no software. We will show charts with software in the next couple of days when we introduce it. The software will be tweaked a bit for the pulley but is not required.

No

No sir.

Thank you for the kind words. I hope we impress you with our E9X products as well

edit: We should have the majority of the products on the site by the end of the week. Software information will be up on the forums in the next 48 hours.

Thanks for the info!! I will look for the software info in a couple days!

Sorry, one last question. The pully mod of the E36 was gravy. What do you recon the install time is on the E9x?

I wonder why Active has no issue with DCT for pulleys but evosport does? I was going to order evosport but looks like I will have to go with Active.

So glad to see software is available, can't wait to see the gains! Will custom tunes for nitrous, etc, be available like on the M5/M6?

I believe EvoSport said they are still testing thiers on DCT's to MAKE SURE there are no issues....not that it was an "issue" per se. I think they are still in R&D mode for DCT applications...just to ensure there are no issues. That is how I read his response in the other thread.

That is correct. Thank you for clarifying that.
