Thought I'd add this one from Motor1, they compared driving between the AMG GLE 63S and X5 M Competition - which both coincidentally have the same embargo date for reviews.
Seems like the biggest problem is that BMW can't figure out the ride and handling balance. Countless reviews of this new X5/6 M, 3-series, and X3/4 M have criticized the rough ride and supposedly BMW is making changes to the suspension due to criticism from reviews and owner complaints. https://www.motor1.com/reviews/40137...omparison/amp/ |

M Performance model seems to be the sweet spot in the BMW lineup and if you need that extra bit of sportyness, base M model. Every M Competition model I've driven is overly stiff (to me) and doesn't work in the city. Some may be able to tolerate it, but most won't and can't. I'm not saying the Competition models are bad in anyway, but it's made for a specific person. It seems like the X5 M Competition is no different.

Loved the videos and write ups, but makes me wish I had one in my garage (at least I can still drive my F85 X5M while I wait). Still waiting for an allocation so my order can be sent to the factory.

wow...
For those of us still playing with lesser cars, I'll just leave this here:
Cost per 315/30/22 tire For those of you able to do that at the rate these monsters will eat that rubber,

Interestingly enough; car and drive has X3M / X4M Competition 0-60 @ 3.3 secs
-And- X5M / X6M Competition @ 3.7 secs Weight to power? What gives? |

That's a comparison of tested vs BMW official 0-60 times. The X3/4 M's "stated" 0-60 times by BMW is 4-seconds. Expect the 3.7 second time to be beaten once magazines receive the vehicles for instrument testing.
