hey there folks so my cars been acting funny lately! friday night my car went into complete limp mode with the check enigne light on. i took it on sat and they said it was a vacuum leak and they fixed it. 2 miles later i got the same problem. I couldnt take it in anymore because it was too late already. Fast forward im sick of pacific bmw so i decided to take it into century west bmw where i always took my other bmws, and never had a problem. So i just got a call from my SA who is an AWESOME man BILL evans been dealing with him forever and he said my car needs a software update and that is whats causing my check engine and limp mode problems...

Im not a professionally however does this sound logical?...

he did have his master tech look into it and thats what he said.
