X5 has comfort plus? You can code it but I don't think it does anything

Believe there is no comfort plus driving mode. "plus" defacto only comes with sports mode. If you meant "individual" settings then these are only for ecopro and sports. This for standard software without mods.

I've coded Comfort Plus (along with Sports Plus) via Bimmercode expert mode.

Comfort Plus does change the transmission and engine behaviour, I've noticed a difference. Gear changes are very subtle and drawn out, very hesitant to kick-down - and the motor remains in the low rev range. Does nothing for suspension - at least none that I can notice via the adaptive M-Suspension, but it might do something for those with the air-suspension.

Its great for a gentle and restrained drive with the family - very uninspiring, they should call it Chauffeur mode....

I already have Sports Plus mode enabled, will use Comfort Plus for few days and see if I can feel any difference.

Yes there is comfort plus available through coding. I thought you were asking about it in standard setup without mods/coding

Let us know how you go.

Do you have the air suspension?

That's the thing with the 30d I've got, not quite sure why they don't enable Sports plus from the factory. How do you find the 40i with fuel economy?

Had comfort plus on my 750ixdrive. It's way more shaky and cadillac style. When you brake hard the front nose takes a dive. And shifting is smoother. All I noticed

I think we had previously characterized "Comfort Plus" as "Eco Pro without the fuel economy".

I have comfort & comfort+ on my f06...and it is NOT as anemic as Eco-Pro. EP mode is like having your "berries" smashed...you're on the ground pounding your fist into the dirt...stuttering...give - me - a - second . . . just - 1 - second...and as the pain subsides you're able to s l o w l y become mobile again.

I would've described it as "limp home mode" without anything actually being wrong, but that works too....

I can feel a difference in the Adaptive M suspension in Comfort Plus. The car also coasts in comfort plus vice not in comfort. You can also code ECO Individual to have comfort plus suspension. Comfort Plus is NOT like ECO at all when it comes to engine feel and transmission shifts/feel.

I coded Comfort Plus on 45e. Sport suspension with air.
Difference is hard to notice over default mode, but it's there. I mainly feel shocks relax a bit more, noticeable over harsh patches of road or large obstacles.

I don't use Eco Pro enough to know, but in Comfort Plus, it seems to start off in 2nd gear instead to get that soft smooth start.
