G20 aftermarket kit/parts

Hi,

As the title says, what are the best aftermarket parts? I'm currently looking to buy the rear diffuser kit, front spoiler and maybe the side skirts.

I'm looking to see if anyone has bought any parts, ebay etc and they're thoughts on quality/fitting.

I've seen a few good sellers on ebay but holding back on some.

Thanks

Xenonz Uk. Very good quality and fit perfectly.
Splitter is one piece so looks very much a direct copy of the OEM ones. Side skirts fit perfectly.
The website is the best way to buy and email them and ask for joint postage for what you order. I paid £275 for front splitter and side skirts. Comes with fixings, splitter mounting plate and strong double sided tape. Very happy with them

I would check with your insurer first to ascertain the increase in cost of your insurance premium by declaring the modifications.

I have just obtained several quotes as a 55yo with full NCB, no endorsements, etc, etc and the best quote offered was an increase from £750 to £1,900.00!!

Thanks for the replies.

I have already added on spoilers as a option to my insurance. I have side decals on and it didn't increase my insurance, which was good.

I think after long deliberations I might end up buying from them. Good price and the products look the exact same across the board of what other aftermarket sellers use.
How are the parts holding up, is the tape still holding on? I've bought some 3m vhb tabe.

I've been a lurker for a couple of months now and finally registered. I too am very tempted by the Xenonz splitter / lip and side skirts.

I would also quite like an M340i rear diffuser (which Xenonz don't seem to offer), although I'm not sure one would be compatible with my retractable tow bar.

Is anyone able to comment on the quality and look of these parts after having them fitted for a while? Thanks.

So I went ahead and purchased a splitter / lip and side skirts in gloss black from Xenonz. The parts are now installed on my dravit G21 M340i and I'm really happy with the result. As others have commented, both the quality and fit are very good.

The splitter / lip attached with 6 existing fixings (3 on each side) but needed an additional 4 screws to keep the centre section securely attached to the bumper. I also used some of the tape provided, but this alone would likely be insufficient.

Each side skirt has 14 pre-drilled holes. I used 8 screws to attach each one, plus a strip of tape down the full length.

The car now just needs a black gloss rear diffuser but I'm not yet sure if one would be compatible with my retractable tow bar.

Some pictures would be great to see.
My Xenonz stuff is still staying in place with the screws and some 3m Vhb tape. I used to some uv adhesion promoter for the tape and it's pretty solid. Jet washing the car hasn't affected it all.

You (we..) would need some round exhaust tips with their diffuser too?

Ignoring your towbar for a minute Xenonz say re the exhaust

So our diffuser would fit, you would need to buy the round tips and have them fitted and it will be sorted.

Regards, Zeeshan Khan.

Here you go. I also just posted a couple of pictures in the G21 thread here.

I don't currently have any close-ups.

I'm not sure about switching for round tips. Just need to find a suitable M340i diffuser. But if the tow bar rubs it (which I believe was the case with the F31) it'll be a no-go for me.

Looks lovely. I like the fact that the cars don't look over the top with these parts fitted. You were braver than me and fitted the front splitter extensions. I left mine off as I'll know I'd catch them on something.

Looks good! I'm not fan of the fake tips.

You may be interested in these black tips then?

Thanks for sharing. Fortunately my tips are already black (part of the shadowline pack).
