Hello, was searching but wasn't able to find any info on is it possible to run CD73 (BMW Professional) from a vehicle that had Logic 7 on a vehicle that had HiFi system with same type of the headunit?

Display on mine went bad so I bought used radio but they forgot to mention it was from a vehicle that had Logic 7 so there was no sound once unit was connected.

possible but headunit should recoded to switch output from MOST transport (logic7) to analog low-level outputs (Hifi)

Thank you, I think I'll just swap the front panel as it's just the display that's acting stupid on mine.

the professional headunit may be from different vendors alpine and vdo-continental
i'll advise to search headunit from car with logic7

Both units are the same Alpine units. Almost same production date as well (2 months difference)
Already swapped front panel. Now when I have time I'll try and code the other one just to see if it'll work.

Both the idrive and the pro radio are programmable for all three systems.
stereo , Hi Fi and Logic7 as long as they have the logic 7 fiber optic connection the back. Some Euro Radio's don't.
