So I'm not sure if I've ever asked this before. But I've had some success with Technic PNP sub-harness. My first setup wasn't as powerful as my current setup. My sunroof is catching pure hell when the lows drop. so I'm wondering will this damage it. Mind you I do have a bass knob and I'm not always playing my music on full blast. Just curious from one bimmer to another

Too much power at too low a frequency can kill any sub, or eardrum.

My bad man I meant to say my sunroof is catching pure hell, crazy flex going on when playing certain songs. I was wondering could this potentially damage the sunroof which is panoramic. It's mostly the front panel of glass that flexes the most.

Now picture this: high pressure low frequency sound waves are doing the same thing to your eardrums as they are to the sunroof. It's all fun and games, until you go deaf.

Thanks for the heads up, been wanting to upgrade my system. What do you currently run?

I'm running a single Dark Audio 12 inch subwoofer 1000 rms on an Audiopipe 1500 watt amp at 2ohms in a 30hz tuned box. Man the lows I'm getting are incredible man. Are you in Europe or the USA.

What's the box size? I want to get low but I'm having a hard time giving up the hatch space to accommodate the box volume I'd need to get the output I want.

Tbh I'm not 100 percent sure but man I hardly have any room back there now it's actually pretty sad : but to me, it was worth the trade if I ever do take my car in a trip somewhere I'd simply remove the box. Maybe....

3rd Picture - this was already ripped and torn when I took delivery of the vehicle. Turns out it worked perfectly to route the positive and negative connections. Makes me wonder why it was torn though.

It is a tad bit messy but overall I enjoy it very much. The guys and gals on the forum are very knowledgeable and exceptionally resourceful. Especially Billfitz, he's all knowing. Really knows the chassis

I second this. And nice I couldn’t give up my cargo space. Might look into installing something under the boot’s flooring.

If I had a mind to add a sub it would be behind the left side wheel well. You wouldn't lose any cargo space. I've seen some custom made for F30.
