Glass control volume knob ?

Can anyone confirm if this is suppose to be glass too ? The start button, shifter and Idrive controller are all glass but I think I read somewhere the volume knob is suppose to be too.

Not any more, I heard. I just ordered a glass button from Aliexpress today.

I read it somewhere even the ambient lighting at the back seat is not available if you don't have Skylounge and/or extended Marino leather. Don't know if it's true or not....

IMO, BMW cheap out in 2021....

Indeed, removed for this model year. Verified with my bmw sales guy because I noticed the same.

I think supply shortages of a lot of things due to covid didn't help, I'll try and survive without the glass knob and heated/cooled cup holders but it won't be easy

I have all that in mine but I have all those options listed. Yea they def dropped some items didn't they

still an awesome car, im loving mine so far everyday

I don't believe they sell these. Well, I haven't been able to find them, other than the link someone posted from Aliexpress.

Sorry - I meant Car Analysis. They will be offering it before the end of the month. They sent me the prototype and it is perfect.

I have their iDrive and start/stop buttons as well. I also ordered a start/stop button through Aliexpress and it did not fit as promised. This is the only company I would trust for these things. I believe the volume knob will go for $29.95.

Just took delivery this week of a MY21 and I have skylounge, not merino, exec package but no glass volume knob.

I think that ambient light on the backseat is included in the "travel & comfort" option, adding the usb and coathanger sockets.
If you don't have that, there's nothing physical on the seat for any ambient light to "hide behind"

Oh, I was thinking about the doors only, they have ambient lights - no lights in the seats (even with the USB sockets).
