Where would you take your GT for service?

My 330GT is up for it's first service (38K mi)outside of the included maintenance and is under BMWs CPO warranty. Would you continue to take it to the dealer or to a qualified shop that specializes with BMW (certified techs, BMW fluids, etc.)?

I'm conflicted with price vs something goes wrong and have to prove to BMW that it should be repaired under warranty.

Take it to an indy who specializes in German cars. You'll pay half what a dealer will charge. There's no requirement to use BMW certified techs or fluids. Keep all your receipts as proof of work done. You only use CPO coverage at the dealer when something covered by warranty breaks.
